Goal: Be the energy.
In the summer of 2008, Pearson launched a new version of their SuccessMaker curriculum software for K-8. The announcement was made at NECC (the National Education Computing Conference) in San Antonio, Texas, and the company needed a high-energy trailer to announce the big news to their audience of teachers, principals and administrators. Barking Shelby was brought aboard to strategize and produce the video.

Goal: Be inspirational.
When hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast, the Pearson Foundation went into high gear, sending three “eBuses” outfitted with educational software to serve as mobile computer labs for schools in three hard-hit communities. While on site, employee volunteers from the company traveled down and staffed the buses for week-long shifts. Using employee journals and photographs, Paul created this video as a heart-felt tribute to the efforts of both those who volunteered to help on the buses, as well as those who helped by picking up the slack back in the office. This film debuted at an all-company meeting attended by 450 employees.
