Barking Shelby is owned and operated by Paul Tumarkin of Tucson, Arizona. Paul has written professionally for almost every medium, including print, Web, multimedia, video, and audio. Paul currently serves as Co-President of the Tucson Chapter of IABC, the International Association of Business Communicators. He also sits on the Board of Directors of the Arizona Jewish Post as well as the Board of Directors of Aikido of Tucson.

Educated.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Colorado College where he graduated magna cum laude in 1991. He then went on to complete his Master of Arts degree in Spanish Literature at the University of California Irvine in 1994.

Paul resides in the community of Civano with his wife, Joanna, his two daughters, and his business partner, Shelby Marie.

As the perfect compliment to Paul's professional focus, Shelby brings a constant positive energy to the workplace. Shelby is long-studied in the art of being heard and has been the inspiration for our business identity. Her unyielding—not to mention extremely vocal—perseverance has earned her a position as a highly respected member of the Barking Shelby team.

Shelby also serves as a great foot warmer in the office on cool Tucson winter days.
